Our Events
Listed below are a range of events being organised at Cammeray Croquet Club. Soon, members will be able to make bookings to play in these events by logging in to the Members' Area and clicking on the 'Event Bookings' link . In the meantime, you should use the traditional ways of making event bookings.

| To be played on the 2nd and 4th Saturday mornings starting April 10
Conditions: Handicap difference must be at least 6, and the combined handicaps must be in the range 15 to 30. This means that a 20-handicap player can partner anyone with a handicap of between 10 and 0; and a 12 handicap player can partner anyone with a handicap of 3 to 6. Partners may be invited from other clubs, although at least one player in each pair should be from Cammeray. Play: : the matches will be handicap doubles, with alternate strokes. Time: 2 ½ hours. 26 point games, with advanced play (lifts after 1-back and 4-back). Either player can start each turn with either ball, but after that they have to alternate their strokes. Handicaps:: the number of bisques in each game is given by half the difference between the totals of the partner’s handicaps e.g. if a pair on 20 and 1 play a pair on 12 and 4, the difference between the totals is 21- 16 = 5. There are thus 5/2 = 2 ½ bisques to the 20 & 1 pair. Entering: : to enter as a single use the web based entry system. Please indicate which Staurdays you are unavailable so we can do the draw. To enter as a pair, the lower handicap player should enter via the when and in the availability section indicate as well as availability the name of the second player.
